DESCRIPTION – this gene is located at 5q32. PDGFRB stands for platelet derived growth factor receptor B. it defines a unique subgroup of myeloid and lymphoid neoplasms frequently associated with eosinophilia and characterized by high sensitivity to tyrosine kinase inhibition.
